About the artist

I first started drawing animals when I was about 3 years old. My parents tell me it all started with a seagull. I studied fine arts at Okanagan College and spent some years as an airbrush artist. Later in life I decided to pursue a career in dog training, receiving certification as a master dog trainer from Canada West Canine Centre in beautiful Salmon Arm, BC. I have been training dogs ever since, and have been involved in dog rescue, fostering, rehabilitating and re-homing dogs in need. I live on Canada's north west coast and currently share my life with two rescued Catahoula Leopard dogs.
